People of Sirohi
Meet the Sirohian woman—unafraid of breaking social barriers to build a better world for herself and the future generations to come.

About the Sirohian Woman
In an attempt to revive the age-old forms of weaving, we spent over half a decade identifying weavers, especially rural women in need of employment, to train and pass on this form of weaving to. We aim to provide these newly trained artisans with a global platform to showcase their incredible talents while also creating a model of sustainable income and employment.
A majority of our artisans are from the Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, popularly known for its high crime rate. Observing the flair of these artisans, we decided to change this perspective of Muzzu from Crime to Culture. Despite being subjected to early marriages, the women of Sirohi display commendable courage and determination. Wherein earlier they were completely dependent on their husbands, now, the women of Sirohi lead financially independent & equal lives with their male counterparts.
